Dominique Lemoine, Managing Partner of Carreras & Lemoine, LLP received the National Order of Merit on January 18th, 2013, during a ceremony at the French Consul General’s residence. The ceremony was presided over by Frédéric Lefebvre, former Minister of the French Government and Congressman.
The National Order of Merit was created by President Charles de Gaulle in 1963, and is awarded to French citizens or foreign nationals for distinguished achievements, either public or military. The National order of Merit is awarded after at least ten years of public service and only for distinguished merits.
Through his creation and management of Carreras & Lemoine, LLP, Dominique has been a key actor in the French-American business community by promoting and supporting economic relations between France and the Southeast U.S. Dominique has also provided well-needed help to many French citizens who found themselves in the Atlanta area needing legal advice on various matters such as immigration issues, international divorce and preventing child abduction.
